Haute Cabrière – The Base Station 

The proposed base station at Haute Cabrière offers more than just a starting point for your cableway experience. Situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands, this location is perfect for wine tasting, dining, and other leisurely activities, making it an ideal day trip destination. The Franschhoek Cableway complements the charm of the area, contributing to local economic upliftment, boosting tourism, and inspiring local artisans. 

Welcome to Middagkrans Peak – The Summit of Adventure 

By summitting the Middagkrans Peak, at an elevation of 1015 metres above sea level, visitors will be able to enjoy an iconic new vista over the Franschhoek valley.  The summit station at Middagkrans Peak will feature an array of culinary and wine tasting experiences, environmental and cultural heritage educational opportunities as well as access to thrilling outdoor activities. For adventure seekers, the cableway will open easy access to activities like mountain biking, hiking, and paragliding.
